Frugality Intro

For anyone that knows me from my old blog you’re probably wondering where all those posts on saving money are. For anyone that knows me in real life you’re probably wondering where all of my coupon shopping trips are. The truth is, this has been the hardest part for me to start writing on. Why? Because there is just SO much in my head and I don’t know where to start!

I did a 31 day financial fast last year that I look forward to sharing with you. I find new ways to save money while eating healthy all of the time. I learn about new ways to use newspaper coupons, printable coupons, ecoupons and coupon apps often. I find videos posted by great bloggers who explain saving money in ways I cannot. So instead of posting and posting and posting – I have a list of things I want to write about “one day.”

Well, “one day” is today. I’m ready to start getting you excited and motivated to save money.

Don’t like coupons? Don’t use them. Don’t like clearance clothes? Don’t buy them. Living frugal is about finding ways to save you and your family money WITHOUT the stress that will send you to the doctor and cost you more money than you saved to start with šŸ™‚

So please get excited – I’m sure I’ll post SOMETHING you’ll find beneficial and maybe even *wait for it* FUN! Because saving money and living a frugal lifestyle is FUN if you let it be. Learning to live within your means is freeing and challenging in the best way possible. And it doesn’t have to be stressful. Just keep the right mentality and a let yourself make mistakes and you’ll enjoy it too!
